Professional kvetch and veritable rock star of the Leather community, Laura is a world-renowned author and fantastic presenter. Any discussion with her is assured to be lively, provocative, informative, and highly entertaining.

In her own words:
There is no universal, agreed-upon protocol for kinky folk. We’re all making this shit up as we go along, stealing from each other when imagination fails. If you want a personal, powerful and effective style of behavior and expectations in your DS relationships, you have to make it – and keep it – on your own. Learn how to build it from the bottom up – no pun intended. Find out what the key aspects of a functional protocol are, and how to avoid cribbing from the wrong sources. This is a mere introduction to issues of etiquette, protocol, and their place within your personal relationships and our community as a whole.

Laura Antoniou is the Winner of the National Leather Association Lifetime Achievement Award 2011, author of The Marketplace series of novels, along with dozens of short stories, essays, articles over the last 25 years. She has sold over 600,000 books and presented, taught and ranted at over 150 groups, businesses, schools, and conferences since the 80’s. She’s been a member, officer, founder and representative of several SM/Leather organizations over the years, including TES, LSM, National Leather Association: Metro NY, National Leather Association: International, and produced one Leather contest (Ms. Northeast Leather 1992), but far prefers writing and teaching.

You can read more about her here on Fetlife at LAntoniou and on her website LAntoniou.com.

Don’t miss this opportunity to close out Pride Month with one of our Leather community’s most beloved and audacious luminaries.
