In this class, participants will learn several versions and variations of hogties, which are suitable for different body shapes and degrees of flexibility, so that participants can understand some key elements and variables and find a hogtie(s) most appropriate and enjoyable for them and their partners. Participants will learn through demonstration, hands-on step-by-step tying, feedback and assistance, and questions and answers. The class also covers different types of equipment, risks and risk factor considerations, and safety / risk reduction precautions. A class for rope bottoms as well as for rope tops, the class also includes techniques for physically handling being hogtied, bodily awareness of risk indicators, and communication while restrained.

Level: Intermediate. Prerequisites: Participants who are tying should already know how to tie single-column tie, a double-column tie, and a basic chest harness. You can learn these prerequisite ties in the Rope Fundamentals class the week before this Hogties class.
