BONDAGE SIG: Twist and Shout, with KeepOnKeepingOn

Shibari/Kinbaku has its roots in the torture chambers of Shogunate era Japan. In the early 1900s these torture practices were modified to create stunningly erotic, albeit painful, bondage ties. Today, we will continue to expand on the opportunities to use rope as a means of torture. This class will teach students ways to safely leverage the body’s natural physiology to produce sadistic ties focusing on sustainability and rope as a means of communication and intimacy. Join us and unleash your inner sadist!

Requirements:
-Full rope kit (natural fiber preferred)
-Understanding of basic body mechanics
– Participants should be able to tie single column ties and know how to redirect rope using a variety of hitches
