On June 29th, professional pervert and lifestyle fetishist Quincy Anna will present her Hot Take on Hojojutsu Workshop, featuring a fast and fucked up style of rope bondage that lends itself well to playful experimentation and sadistic predicaments. Together with knowledgeable Rope Top and Femme Daddy Cristine, and bratty sadomasochist Kala, she will demonstrate how to safely and swiftly entangle your friends and frenemies in creative BDSM scenes.

Hojojutsu is a traditional Japanese art that was originally designed to capture, bind and transport feudal prisoners. Its structures are inherently dangerous, often incorporating physical stress positions and breath play. For this reason, the workshop will focus less on history than it will on safety in rope and implementation of RACK, or Risk Aware Consensual Kink. All participants will learn about danger zones and warning signs to be aware of when using rope, and how to use this information for better negotiation and play.

Safety first! Breathplay second!!

This class is suitable for bondage novices and shibari masters alike, and complimentary paracord rope kits will be provided. Everyone will learn basic knots, hitches, and tensions, and how to use them in surprising ways to tie any body or body part. This class does not cover suspension, however Quincy, Cristine, and Kala will demonstrate various toys and tortures into their web of debauchery. Keep an eye on their instagrams accounts—@dp_ds_, @daemonumx, and @cliteastwood_—for teasers and updates.

After the workshop, students are encouraged to ask additional questions, socialize, and play in a safe and judgement free environment. All genders and experience levels are welcome. Please be aware that consent is paramount, and that the use of hard drugs will not be tolerated. Light snacks and refreshment will be provided, but additional sustenance is always appreciated. Feel free to BYOB—wine, bubbly or beer, no hard alcohol please—to enjoy during the social, but anyone who is visibly intoxicated will be asked to leave.

Thanks for your interest, and happy binding!
