Bio:

Gil Kessler was a member of GMSMA (Gay Male S/M Activists) from 1983 until it disbanded in 2009, including seven years as President and over twenty-five years conducting workshops and seminars. Since 1990, he has conducted the Novices SIG (Special Interest Group), a “course” of six or more (as many as 16!) four-hour workshops for novices, with over fifteen men registering most years.

Gil is a member of TES, Delta International, and The New York Bondage Club. He was treasurer for LLC-X (the Leather Leadership Conference) held in New York City in April 2006, and a judge for IML 29 in 2007. Gil has presented many times at GMSMA, TES, Delta International, Spring in the South (Atlanta), The Boston Dungeon Society, and The Black Tulip Hotel (Amsterdam), among others. He is an avid proponent of multi-colored clothespins and bright mummifications, plus a little fun with rope and electricity on the side.

He was an NYC math teacher/administrator for thirty years, is a classical pianist, and is an avid square dancer.
